Community Eelgrass Restoration Initative
Community Eelgrass Restoration Initiative (CERI) is an equal collaboration between the FOME lab and the Confederacy of Mainland Mi’kmaq
CERI aims to restore our eelgrass beds and our connection to the eelgrass and the land. Utilizing Etuaptmumk, a Two-Eyed seeing approach, we are taking traditional Mi’kmaq knowledge and combining it with western science to study, restore, and communicate all related to eelgrass!
