Kylee recently graduated from Dalhousie University with a BSc in Marine Biology and Environmental Science. She joined the CERI Project in 2024 as a scientific diver, supporting eelgrass transplanting efforts across Nova Scotia. Since then, Kylee has become a key member of our Blue Carbon team. As a Research Assistant, she contributes to the evaluation of carbon storage in eelgrass ecosystems by processing and analyzing sediment cores collected from coastal sites around the province. Her work supports a growing body of research on the role of eelgrass in climate mitigation and coastal ecosystem health.
